Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi announced that Saudi citizens can now visit Pakistan without a visa, a significant step reflecting the strengthening of the two nations.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi announced on 20th April in Islamabad that Saudi citizens can now travel to Pakistan without needing a visa. He shared this news after meeting with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy in Islamabad.

During their meeting, both sides talked about ways to improve the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They discussed making travel easier, working together on safety and security, and helping each other in law enforcement.

Minister Mohsin Naqvi thanked Saudi Arabia for the continuous support. He especially appreciated Saudi Arabia’s help during a recent international meeting that focused on stopping drug crimes. He said their help shows the strong friendship between the two countries.

Mohsin Naqvi also spoke about changes happening in Pakistan. He said the government is working to improve the passport and ID systems. He also said efforts are being made to stop street crimes and criminal groups that force people into begging.

Another important point he shared was that five Pakistani citizens who were wrongly jailed in Saudi Arabia have been released and are now back home, thanks to the help of Saudi authorities. He said he appreciated this wonderful deed quite much.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia decided after the conference to keep cooperating.. They vowed to help one another and strengthen their alliance in the future.
